• General/Unreserved/General-EWS candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s degree or an equivalent examination from a UGC-recognized university.
• Reserved Categories (SC, ST, PWD, OBC-NCL) must have secured a minimum of 50% marks (without rounding off) in their Master’s degree.
• Final Year Students: Candidates who are in their final year of a Master’s degree or are awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.

SLET 2026 Exam Pattern & Structure

The State Eligibility Test consists of two objective-type papers. There is no negative marking in either paper.
